Director of SMB Sales
James brings more than a decade of sales experience to OwnLocal. He was an early employee at OutboundEngine, a fast-growing and heavily sales-driven organization where his rep development and training skills were instrumental in leading a large sales team. James believes in an honest and upfront selling style and subscribes to the notion that even if you can sell ice cubes to Eskimos, you shouldn't do so unless those Eskimos somehow need ice cubes. He was initially drawn to Austin for its music scene and has been involved with more bands and played on more stages than he can count. His own recordings have been featured on radio and TV, including major shows like FX's Sons of Anarchy.
