Rob is a senior leader with 30+ years of experience running every discipline of a software company. He specializes in market and product strategy for early stage software companies and has been at the forefront of successful acquisitions at all six of the startups where he held leadership positions. Acquisitions included IBM, Oracle, and RR Donnelley. Previously, Rob was responsible for Enterprise Java at Sun Microsystems and most recently co-founded Tapigo, a maintenance application for landscape services.
Lloyd W. Armbrust

Prior to starting OwnLocal, Lloyd spent 15+ years in the newspaper industry, starting as a circulation call-center manager, and then moving into digital sales and content management for newspaper websites. Working for Morris Communications, he started one of the first video production departments at a newspaper and raised sales and user engagement by 500%. In 2008, he founded OwnLocal, and in 2010 received funding from Y Combinator, Baseline Ventures, Lerer Media Ventures, the Knight Foundation, Paul Buccheit, and several other Angels. He is a graduate of York College, lives in Austin, TX, and has 4 kids under the age of 10.
Chief Revenue Officer
Landon is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur who specializes in scaling startups and doing turnarounds. For 20+ years, he's been leading organizations in the enterprise tech, retail, medical and consumer services industries. Most recently he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Total Men's Medical, and prior to that he was both VP of Operations and Head of Managed Services at Hair Club for Men. At OwnLocal, he works closely with sales, marketing, and operations to drive revenue growth and expansion. His motto in life, "There are only two options. Win & Win."
VP Product & Engineering
Jonathan Dawe (or “JD”, his nom de startup) has 15 years of experience building software products and teams. Starting his career as a teenager, he's been a designer, developer, advisor, and founding team member at a handful of startups, including Main Street Hub and Help.com. He now brings his experience, leadership, and the intersection of his deep expertise in the areas of local business, advertising, and publishing to OwnLocal. Jonathan has a B.A. in philosophy and English literature, was a member of a Chicago rock band, and ran an art gallery out of his apartment. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and son.
